The sdk service lost database connectivity.
Database name: OperationsManager
Server instance name: sql01
Exception Message: Could not allocate space for object ‘dbo.JobStatus’ in database ‘OperationsManager’ because the ‘PRIMARY’ filegroup is full. Create disk space by deleting unneeded files, dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup.

You can resolve this problem by enabling autogrowth on the SQL database files.  Launch SQL Server Management Studio on the SQL server and open the properties of the OperationsManager database.  Select Files, then take note of the Autogrowth setting.

Compute an access-list to match even or odd networks

Filed under: CCIE Written,CISCO — nwachonky @ 9:28 am

Here is a simple tip to write an access-list for even or odd networks.

Lets say we are asked to permit all odd or permit all even for ?

We’ll play the game with last octet or I should say the least significant bit of last octet.

-If it is 0, the IP address will be Even

-If it is 1, the IP address will be Odd = – odd =  – odd =   even =   even

FOR Even Networks

The IP address will be

With the wild card mask as

254 = 11111110

Here, 0 means DO CARE of the last bit in IP address (must be ZERO)

Hence ACL will be

access-list 1 permit

For Odd Networks

The IP address will be

With the wild card mask as

254 = 11111110

Here, 0 means DO CARE of the last bit in IP address (must be ONE)

Hence ACL will be

access-list 1 permit

Passed 70-686

2011 is here finally, Almost done with Exchange 2010 configuring studies.ccie road map on the way. downloaded the expanded R&S blue print from INE, hope to use it as a guide line.

I will use mainly INE workbook for my studies, v5 ( vol I,vol IV), still saving to buy volume II, purchased some rack time from INE too.Since i have two 3550 switches, i will setup dynamips to match INE ver3.0 that has two switch topology.

i will also make use of other Workbook so as to have diverse idea and ways of attempting technology issues.

Exchange 2010 studies has been interesting so far, going through trainsignal and CBT nuggets video has really helped me in understanding New features Added to exchange 2010.

The Most interesting aspect is how exchange now handles storage Group and Database Replication.Replication technologies like CCR,SCR,LCR,SCC are no longer applicable on exchange 2010.DAG(Database Available Group) has been introduced.

In a Couple of Days i will Explain the Technology called DAG and how it makes Database replication easy.

back to my cbt nugget video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
